You will be hired by a Provincial Government Office of Education and will be teaching at JEV or GEV at the province Current No of Foreign instructor in institute: 8 in Jeon Ju and 7 in GEV
Number of Korean instructor: 7 Type of Students: Elementary and middle school students. Working days a week: Mon – Friday (Saturday classes may assigned). Working hours: 9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m

If you have an extra class on Saturday, you will teach between 2:00p.m - 7:30p.m Class size: 16 Starting date: throughout the year
Subjects taught: Art, Cooking, Social Studies, World Culture, Drama, Music, Science, and Physical Education etc. All the subjects are taught by English only.

Payment: annual salary 30,600,000~36,600,000 won(including extra class payment)
(Over time pay: 25,000 won for weekday class per hour)

Currently teachers are required to teach 20 Saturdays out of 52 weeks per month (from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm). Overtime rate is 40,000 per hour (No Saturday class in
Overtime is always available if you want to work more to earn higher salary.
Over 22 hours [24 class hours (40-45 minutes) = 22 hours per week] of working is overtime as opposed to 30 hours at the private schools with JEV.
Current teachers do not have problem working the two Saturday classes. Least salary you expect is 2.5M won per month (based on our past experience) if you are 3rd level ELI. If you are qualified as level 1 your salary would be close to 3.1M won.
